Mike has been living and working in the East Village for over 25 years! He started bartending at McSorley's in 1990 and you can still find him behind the bar there today when he's not at The Copper Still. Originally Mike is from Kilkenny Ireland, a beautiful medieval town about an hour south of Dublin. His favorite drink is the Redbreast 12 year old Irish Whiskey.
Originally from Clondalkin, Ireland, Brendan has been bartending in NYC for 10 years. Prior to The Copper Still he worked at Dempsey's down the street and Ryan's Irish Pub before purchasing Ryan's with Mike and Shane in order to turn it into The Copper Still. A true bartender, his favorite drink is actually 3 favorite drinks: A well made Manhattan, an authentic pour of Guinness and Bushmills 21 Year.
Shane has been bartending most of his life in Ireland before coming to NYC about 8 years ago. He is originally from Crettyard which is a hamlet in County Laois, Ireland. If he isn't at The Copper Still you might find him behind the bar at McSorley's with Mike. His favorite drink is The Still Fashionable - The Copper Still's signature drink.
Dave is from Conahy, a small parish in Kilkenny, Ireland. He bartended in Ireland at Paris Texas Bar & Restaurant from 2006 until he moved to NYC to work at Ryan's Irish Pub (which became The Copper Still in 2014). His favorite drink is a Manhattan and a pint of Guinness.
Peter was home grown at The Copper Still and was brought over from Rathfarnham a Southside suburb of Dublin, Ireland. He's one of the founding bartenders and enjoys a good Manhattan or a well balanced Old Fashion where there isn't too much muddled fruit - like The Still Fashionable.
